Caitlin Bannister is a longtime friend of the Lighthouse; having worked with Lighthouse clients and staff as a service provider through the Lighthouse’s Supported Employment Program many years ago. Caitlin has experience working with blind and DeafBlind clients and is excited to use this knowledge to further support the Lighthouse community. Caitlin has since returned to university to obtain a Ph.D. in neuroscience, after which she intends to pursue a career in neuroscience research with the goal of developing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. She has a particular interest in programs that increase accessibility. When thinking on her own motivations and philanthropy, Caitlin writes,

“I am dedicated to supporting everyone regardless of life situation or history, to being their best most successful self.”
