Become a Trained Guide!

Are you a good communicator who enjoys helping others? Inland Northwest Lighthouse (INL) has the perfect opportunity for you to support our mission to create and enhance opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency for people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities.

We are currently looking for individuals interested in being trained as a guide.  As a guide you will help empower people who are blind by providing visual information and assisting individuals navigate around events and meetings held both at INL and throughout the Spokane community.

Our next guide training is scheduled from 3:30 -5:00 p.m. on April 17, but we are always seeking dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers to participate in the program.  For more information about this outstanding opportunity, please contact Shawn Dobbs at 509-487-0405 or sdobbs@seattlelh.org.
