What Can You Learn from Blind and DeafBlind Professionals?
Finding a job is one part of the employment experience. Accessing information, attending meetings, and connecting with coworkers are also important parts of daily work.
Our presenters will discuss their job searches and the approaches they use to participate in their workplaces. The conversation will focus on three areas:
- Job search experiences: Hear about the presenters’ experiences pursuing employment and ask questions that relate to your own search.
- Workplace accommodations: Learn about accommodations they use to complete forms, attend meetings, and carry out everyday tasks.
- Connecting with coworkers: Explore how presenters take part in workplace conversations, social activities, and daily interactions.
Bring your questions about finding work and navigating the workplace. You’ll have an opportunity to learn from the panel and consider how their experiences relate to your goals and access needs.

Celebrate NDEAM 2026: Celebrating Value and Talent
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). The 2026 theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” recognizes the contributions of people with disabilities in workplaces and communities. With roots dating to 1945, the observance builds on more than 80 years of disability employment awareness.
This webinar carries that tradition forward by recognizing the value and talent within the blind and DeafBlind communities. It is an opportunity to learn from one another, share knowledge, and celebrate professional experience.
