Meet the Presenters
Herbie Allen
Herbie Allen is blind and has used computers since his late teens. Today, the Mac is his primary computer. Herbie is an instructor involved with iBUG Today and its Mac training program, where he helps others build their skills and confidence using Apple technology.
Gaylen Floy
Gaylen Floy has used the Mac since 1990, beginning as a graphic designer. As her vision changed because of Retinitis Pigmentosa, she began using the Mac’s low vision accessibility features. Today, Gaylen is an Assistive Technology instructor who teaches both Windows and Mac skills.
Together, Herbie and Gaylen bring personal and professional experience to this practical discussion of accessible technology, Mac skills, and employment.
