A “Get to Know the Lighthouse” event!
Spring is in the air, and we’d love to show you around the Lighthouse!
On Wednesday, April 17th, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. we are opening our doors and inviting you in for an expanded tour. Learn how employees who are blind or DeafBlind are manufacturing products for the aerospace industry and the Federal Government, and how assistive technology and other specialized adaptations are incorporated in our day-to-day operations. Hear from one of our employees and share in some refreshments.
At the Lighthouse, we’ve been empowering people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities by creating diverse, sustainable, and meaningful employment opportunities for over 100 years. Now we want to share our story with you. Please bring a friend or come on your own. We know you’ll be glad you did!
