“Theater for the Blind”, by Lighthouse Development Assistant Keri Brent

Over the weekend I went to see the play Oklahoma at the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle.  As a person who is blind, I really understood what was going on in the play.  They passed out headsets to wear, as a lady’s voice narrated descriptive details in between dialogue, such as what the actors and actresses were doing, and background and scene changes.  I found it to be very helpful and enjoyable.  I will definitely go back for the next audio described play.
