About Aditi Shah

Aditi Shah is a seasoned cybersecurity professional and Machine Learning Researcher at Microsoft, known for her innovative work in automating security responses with artificial intelligence. Her decade-long career encompasses a breadth of experience in software engineering, product management, and data science, complemented by a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology.

A strong champion for diversity and inclusion, Aditi is deeply committed to increasing the representation of women and people with disabilities in STEM and Cybersecurity. She dedicates her time to various non-profit initiatives, serving as a trainer and mentor to cultivate talent from diverse communities. Aditi is also a sought-after speaker on topics of security, accessibility, and inclusion.

About the Foundation Board

The Foundation Board supports our programs and services through outreach and cultivation activities, continuing education opportunities, and networking. Foundation Board members are skilled volunteers who act as ambassadors in the community and seek to increase overall awareness of and support for the Lighthouse mission.

Our ideal Foundation Board member candidate has positivity and passion for the Lighthouse mission and is highly motivated to make a direct impact in the lives of people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities. The candidate also has a strong desire to develop relationships with the people the Lighthouse serves, initiative and motivation to help the Lighthouse tap into new funding sources, and work with staff to implement appropriate funding strategies.
