Chang Liu

Chang Liu is an Inclusive Design and DEI Leader with a distinguished 15+ year career dedicated to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion across various industries. Chang has played pivotal roles at tech giants such as Google and Meta, steering transformative DEI strategies that have reshaped organizational cultures and product offerings.

Chang’s journey as an educator in the Communication Leadership (Comm Lead) program at the University of Washington is a natural progression of her passion for weaving DEI into the ethos of how technology is built. Her course offerings center on topics such as responsible innovation, inclusive design and product equity.

Chang brings her real-world experience, knowledge of DEI, and a wealth of insight to the Comm Lead classroom. She is committed to empowering the next generation of future technology leaders with the tools and strategies to make a meaningful impact in today’s rapidly evolving communication landscape.
