Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation’s generous support is helping provide critical programs in Summerville, South Carolina, for individuals who are blind and DeafBlind. This partnership is supporting Lighthouse employees through accessibility services, computer and assistive technology training, orientation and mobility instruction, and/or adaptive tools. These life-changing services truly make meaningful employment possible for people who are blind and DeafBlind.

Lighthouse’s Summerville Facility
The Lighthouse’s Summerville facility was founded in 2016. Today, the Lighthouse is one of the largest employers of people who are blind in South Carolina, and nearly 80% of our employees in South Carolina are blind or DeafBlind.
We are grateful to Dominion Energy for playing an important role in helping ensure individuals who are blind and DeafBlind in South Carolina are equipped with the skills, resources, and opportunities to build fulfilling, prosperous futures for themselves, and their families.
