A “Get to Know the Lighthouse” event!
Let’s kickoff the summer with some happy hour cheer! Join us at the Lighthouse for a brief tour and explore your senses as we tour Ethel L. Dupar’s Fragrant Garden, our manufacturing floor, and some of the specialized programs offered here at the Lighthouse!
The Lighthouse has been providing employment opportunities since 1918, hosted a world-renowned DeafBlind Retreat since 1978, and maintained the fragrant garden at our Seattle facility since 1973!
Can you imagine doing your job without sight or without sight and hearing? Every day, people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities come to work at the Lighthouse in all areas of manufacturing, administration, human resources, training, and more.
We invite you to stop by for this “Get to Know the Lighthouse” happy hour event to share in community over a drink and refreshments and learn about the Lighthouse! Bring a coworker or come on your own. This will be a “Summer Kickoff” to remember.
