In today’s technology driven world the lives of people who are blind are improving in so many ways. At this “Get to Know the Lighthouse” event, you will have an opportunity to learn and use equipment that Lighthouse employees who are blind use to increase their independence and self-sufficiency. From iPhone and computers to GPS systems specifically modified for a person who is blind; the world is becoming a much more accessible place for all.
Join us on Thursday, June 27th, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. as we discuss these advances in technology and how it is changing the lives of people who are blind across the world, while enjoying coffee and doughnuts on us. Bring a friend, family member, co-worker or neighbor, the more the merrier!
