In 2010, we continued to create and enhance opportunities for people who are blind in the Spokane area at Inland Northwest Lighthouse (INL).  Our employee count grew to a staff of over 50 dedicated individuals who produce aerospace machining, Quartet©/SKILCRAFT© co-branded wallboards, dry-erase easels, hanging file folders, paper trimmers, and spring-back binders.

Most notably among our accomplishments in 2010 was the hiring of Kevin Daniel as Executive Director, who works with the newly adopted INL Advisory Council to help further our mission and visibility in the Inland Northwest.  We added an Assistive Technology Instructor position, responsible for training employees on the latest assistive technologies such as screen-readers, screen-magnifiers, and other devices that will help them to succeed in their jobs.  We also began to offer Orientation & Mobility (O&M) instruction to our employees, furthering our dedication and commitment to increased accessibility for everyone.
