Your gifts to the Lighthouse support our mission of creating and enhancing opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency of people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities. In short, your generosity has improved the lives of hundreds of working age adults who might not otherwise have had the chance to empower themselves.
Examples of the successes you have helped make possible include: our accessibility initiatives and other Employee and Community Services through our Redefining Vision events; employment opportunities in Spokane at Inland Northwest Lighthouse; giving Global Positioning System technology and the training to use it to our employees; providing necessary software, job training, and other resources for safe travel; and unique outreach through Deaf-Blind Community Classes and annual Deaf-Blind Retreat.
