Celebrating 1 Million Wallboards

The significance of the one millionth wallboard means so many things. It really signifies the employment that’s been created. It symbolizes a tremendous amount of work across the organization, to really have a vision of creating employment where there were no opportunities for people who are blind.
One million wallboards means a lot of things to the Lighthouse.
Celebrating 1 Million Wallboards – Extended Version
Pat O’Hara, Chief Operations Officer:
The millionth wallboard is significant because of the journey we took to get here. The one thing that has always been forefront was blind employment – giving good wages, good healthcare, to be able to serve more customers, and making sure that every time they open that box that it was a good quality wallboard delivered to their desktop, wherever they need.
