Institutional Funding Opportunities

Institutional support through grants and sponsorships enables the Lighthouse to continue its mission of creating and enhancing opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency for individuals who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities. There are many ways for local corporations and foundations to strengthen their community by supporting Lighthouse programs and services. Your partnership with the Lighthouse creates real change in our community through increased jobs, independence, and empowerment, while demonstrating to your clients and partners that your community matters to you.

Program Support

The Lighthouse seeks community support for the jobs, assistive technologies, programs, and support services that we provided to individuals who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities in our community. We are fortunate to partner with many local and national foundations, corporations, and service organizations to ensure that these vital programs remain available to those who depend on them.

For more information about supporting ongoing Lighthouse programs and services, and upcoming funding opportunities and special projects, please contact Kate Wiegel at (206) 436-2116 or via email at  kwiegel@LHBlind.org.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities

We are grateful for the support of many businesses and corporate partners in our community. By sponsoring a Lighthouse event, partners underwrite event costs, ensuring that the maximum amount of event revenue goes directly to Lighthouse programs and services. The Lighthouse hosts many events throughout the year, large and small, and across locations. For more information about upcoming Lighthouse sponsorship opportunities and to discuss how we can build a partnership together, please contact Kate Wiegel at (206) 436-2116 or via email at  kwiegel@LHBlind.org.
